Please join Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong on October 23rd, from 1:00 - 3:00pm in Room 428, as continue our presence at the State House! We will talk about our history of advocacy, the bills currently most important to our self-advocate leadership, meet with legislators and discuss their involvement with the bills, and end with a Q+A session.
Registration required. Limited spaces available.
Some refreshments should be provided, but please try to bring your own snacks and water if you can. Please try to come earlier than 1:00pm to make sure you have enough time to get through the security line and for in-person networking from 1pm to 1:30 pm.
Online remote viewing starts at 1:30 pm until 3:00pm.
This session will be about meeting with legislators and learning about bills most important to our self-advocate leadership.
